Interior Design
Interior design is the art or practice of planning and supervising the design and execution of architectural interiors and their furnishings, it helps to improve the look of different interior establishment such as an office, kitchen, salon and much more. A glossary is an alphabetical list of technical words, terms or abbreviations and their definitions, usually related to a specific discipline or field of knowledge. Glossaries can be useful for helping people identify and acquire the vocabulary of the discipline they're looking for. In these next lines I'll be explaining twenty words in relation with my field of study.

- Made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis; showing symmetry.
- Example: "Its structure is symmetrical with the regime's ruling institutions as well as its vertical articulation.".

- alignment
- noun
- Arrangement in a straight line, or in correct or appropriate relative positions.
- Example: "the tiles had slipped out of alignment".

- contrast
- noun
- Juxtaposition of dissimilar elements (such as color, tone, or emotion) in a work of art.
- Example: Such is the contrast between winter and spring.

- The property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light.
- Example: The lights flickered and changed color.

- saturation
- noun
- The intensity of a color, expressed as the degree to which it differs from white.
- Example: The saturation of the color in the backgrounds is really bright.

- noun
- The range of colors used by a particular artist or in a particular picture.
- Example: I choose a palette of natural, earthy colors.

- The condition of lacking transparency or translucence; opaqueness.
- Example: Thinner paints need black added to increase opacity.

- Symbol made up of text and images that identifies a business.
